A settled home, and a future of your own.
Fondcare is a supported accommodation service in Keighley for young people aged 16 to 25 — a home, and steady, trauma-informed support on the way to an independent adult life, at a pace that feels right.
- Registering with Ofsted under the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023
- Young people aged 16–25
- Self-contained & ring-fenced shared accommodation
- A hands-off, relational model
A home of your own, and support built around you.
Fondcare gives a young person a home of their own within a small, settled house of no more than five — a private en-suite room, or a self-contained flat — with a care team on site through the day and on call around the clock.
Support is built around the young person. We help with the things independence is actually made of: managing money, cooking, health, appointments, education and work — through steady, trusting relationships rather than rules and sanctions.
We don't use restraint or punitive measures. We start from the belief that behaviour is communication, and that our job is to make a young person feel safe enough that they don't have to fight to be heard.
A real home, recently modernised.
Our house in Keighley has been carefully modernised to feel calm and comfortable. Each young person has their own private en-suite room — several with their own kitchenette — alongside shared kitchens and a communal lounge.
A self-contained flat sits at the top of the house for those ready for more independence. Rooms have secure keypad entry and a private intercom, so a young person stays in control of their own space.
Built for continuity, not just a bed.
Continuity across 18
We support both 16–17s and young adults aged 18 to 25 under one roof — so a young person who settles with us isn't uprooted the day they turn eighteen.
Room to progress, in one place
Private supported rooms and a self-contained flat under one roof mean a young person can step toward full independence without leaving the home they've settled into.
Real depth with asylum-seeking young people
Immigration liaison, ESOL and culturally responsive support are built into how we work — recognised needs met properly, not bolted on.
An emergency safe-place suite
A dedicated space for urgent or short-term placements, for when a young person needs somewhere safe quickly.
A young person's progress depends on more than a roof.
Fondcare works alongside the people and services a young person needs — local authority placing and leaving-care teams, GPs and mental health support, colleges and ESOL providers, employment services, immigration solicitors, and specialist support around exploitation, substance misuse and domestic abuse.
We keep it joined up, so a young person isn't passed from agency to agency — and we build the community connections that outlast their time with us.
This would be your home.
Your own room, your own bathroom, a kitchen, a front door you control — and a real say in how things work.
The care team is there when you want them, and not in your face when you don't. We'll help with the everyday things — money, cooking, college or work, appointments — and we'll go at your pace. The aim is simple: that you leave here ready, and knowing you've got people in your corner.
Refer a young person
Local authority teams, social workers and personal advisers can talk to us directly about availability, suitability and how we work. We respond quickly — and we'll tell you honestly if we're not the right fit.
